Pilates has been the best thing I’ve done for my fitness in years. It’s the glue that holds everything else together, and Rachel has given me the best introduction to it, and helped me progress in ways I never thought possible. She’s extremely attentive to each of us in the class, and careful to make sure we master the basics before moving on. She guides us, challenges us and encourages us, and her lessons are always smoothly structured and satisfying — relaxing and invigorating both. I’ve always felt in safe hands with Rachel, and really value her expertise and her lovely manner. She makes Pilates fun, safe, effective, and never intimidating. I feel such a difference in myself, and see it now as a part of my life I don’t want to be without. I’m so glad I discovered Pilates through such a good teacher!


She’s very good and attentive.  We get lots of time to ask questions. The time flies and she has a great knack for spotting when we aren’t quite in the right position and helping us. I very much enjoy Pilates with Rachel.


I  have found Rachel to be an excellent pilates teacher. Not only is she an enthusiastic and experienced practitioner but she is very good at adapting her teaching to the physical needs of a particular student. I came to her with a recent history of severe arthritis resulting in surgical interventions as well as more recent surgery following from a diagnosis of cancer. I experienced Rachel as being sensitive to my situation  and innovative in her choice of pilates exercises, which have been very beneficial. I  always look forward to her classes and particularly appreciate her friendliness and sense of humour.
